We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a Social Media and Communications Intern. As a Social Media and Communications Intern, you will play a crucial role in promoting the organization's mission and engaging with our community online. You will create and manage content across various social media platforms, monitor engagement, and develop strategies to enhance our online presence. This hybrid position combines remote work with on-site activities in Lagos, Nigeria, offering flexibility and diverse experiences.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to align with organizational goals
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content on various social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond appropriately
- Analyze and report on social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends and technologies
- Assist in organizing and promoting events and activities related to the Award program
- Support other communication and marketing efforts as needed
