As a Field Operator II at Scruples Resource Limited, you will play a critical role in operating equipment and wells, adhering to operating and safety procedures, and ensuring the efficient administration of resources to meet daily operational plans. This position demands a proactive approach to reduce equipment failure, maintain safe operational conditions, and optimize well and equipment performance.
Job Detail
Responsibilities
- Implement daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security measures.
- Actively participate in daily toolbox meetings and regular reported safety meetings.
- Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions through continuous surveillance of wells and equipment.
- Function as an Equipment Care Technician, utilizing maintenance skills for simple maintenance activities.
- Report any instances when the alarm, emergency, or emergency shutdown system is out of service.
- Provide detailed, clear, and accurate information during shift changes to ensure operations continuity.
- Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance jobs in accordance with corrective, predictive, and preventive planning.
- Continuously report all relevant operational events and abnormal situations in the logbook.
- Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests.
- Actively participate in emergency response activities.
- Report incidents internally and escalate awareness according to Incident Reporting Guidelines.
- Ensure the Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities.
- Maintain good communication across the work team to address issues/actions adequately.
- Provide the basic facts concerning well-producing problems, current production rates, and the current condition of the well.
- Ensure thorough and complete well problem diagnostics before requesting Well Work intervention operations.
- Maintain wellhead and well surface equipment in good working order prior to Wellwork operations.
- Provide assistance and support to ongoing Wellwork operations as needed.

Qualifications
- Completed secondary education and previous experience as a Field Technician.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental aptitude and ability to cultivate the same in others.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline operations.
- Strong knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
- Broad knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures.
- Strong understanding of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications.
- Knowledgeable of relevant regulations.
- Knowledgeable of relevant commercial agreements.
Education Requirements
- Secondary education completion.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Field Technician.
Skills
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
- High Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
- Proficiency in pipeline operations.
