Our mission in Kano, Nigeria, urgently requires a dedicated and experienced Nursing Activity Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and supervising nursing-related activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in line with MSF standards.

Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize all nursing-related activities including IPD, OPD, maternity, and nutrition.
  • Participate in the annual planning and budget updates to ensure continuity of quality healthcare.
  • Schedule duty rosters, shifts, and on-call assignments for nursing staff.
  • Coordinate and supervise the implementation of legal therapeutic protocols and standards.
  • Provide technical support to ensure quality nursing care, confidentiality, and information traceability.
  • Supervise nutritional activities to ensure the provision of therapeutic food meets quality and quantity standards.
  • Ensure correct use of administrative procedures and data management tools.
  • Supervise pharmacy activities, including distribution according to medical prescriptions and preparation of new orders.
  • Monitor the use of medical devices and communicate future needs in coordination with the biomedical service.
  • Supervise laboratory outputs related to nursing activities, ensuring timely and accurate blood test results.
  • Plan and supervise recruitment, training, evaluation, and development of nursing staff in coordination with the HR department.
  • Train nursing staff on pertinent technical elements (PTE).
  • Report relevant information on nursing activities to the line manager and participate in monthly reports.
