The International Award for Young People Nigeria is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Operation Officer for our Abuja office. This role is critical in driving the growth and participation in The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award program across designated areas of Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily support and contact for Award units, ensuring the quality of the Award delivery, and expanding the program through marketing and recruitment efforts.
As an Operation Officer, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring, enhancing, and ensuring the high standards of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award delivery in your allocated regions. Your responsibilities will include conducting interim and full license reviews, training new Award Leaders, and developing young leaders through targeted training programs. This position requires flexibility, including weekend work and the ability to respond to calls as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in youth development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting young people in achieving their potential. You will be working in a collaborative environment, liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and expansion of the Award program.

Responsibilities
- Drive growth in participation and completion of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award program to agreed targets.
- Provide day-to-day contact and support for the Award units.
- Monitor, enhance, and ensure the quality of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award delivery.
- Conduct interim and full license reviews.
- Market The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award to new participants.
- Recruit new Award Leaders and expand the program.
- Deliver training within specific regional areas and nationally.
- Support the development of young leaders.
- Be available for weekend work and respond to calls as required.
