We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Urologist to join our esteemed team in Warri, Nigeria. The successful candidate will have a strong background in urology, with a dedication to providing exceptional care for patients with conditions affecting the genitourinary organs and tracts. This role involves examining, diagnosing, and treating patient conditions, performing surgeries when necessary, and conducting research to develop and test new surgical techniques.
As a Urologist at Lily Hospitals Limited, you will be responsible for documenting and reviewing patient history, reviewing and advising in-patients referred by hospital specialist colleagues, and ensuring comprehensive and accurate medical records are maintained. You will also be expected to treat lower urinary tract dysfunctions and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant working experience, a license to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Association, and a specialist qualification in Urology. Additionally, knowledge of clinical surgery and other specialist areas such as oncology, pathology, uro-radiology, and uro-traumatology is required. A commitment to continuous quality improvement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patient conditions and disorders of the genitourinary organs and tracts.
- Document and review patient history.
- Review and advise in-patients referred by hospital specialist colleagues for assessment within a clinically appropriate timeframe.
- Perform abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal surgeries when necessary.
- Treat lower urinary tract dysfunctions.
- Conduct research to develop and test surgical techniques for improved operating procedures and outcomes.
- Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and concise medical records are collected and maintained for patients.

Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant working experience.
