We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Sokoto, Nigeria. The successful candidate will supervise daily logistics activities and provide maintenance to MSF equipment, facilities, and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols, to maintain the facilities in perfect condition and collaborate in the mission's development.

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will monitor maintenance activities of infrastructures, manage non-medical stocks and equipment, ensure the check and follow-up of facilities through daily visits, and report any anomalies or problems. You will evaluate rehabilitation needs, follow up on minor building rehabilitation work, ensure that premises observe security norms, and monitor the consumption of mechanical and electrical vehicles, machines, and devices.

In this role, you will plan and coordinate the required checks and maintenance activities of energy systems/set-ups according to MSF standards. You will coordinate and lead the logistics team under your responsibility, including daily supervision, monitoring the quality of work, defining tasks, drawing up work schedules, organizing team meetings, participating in recruitment, and attending logistics meetings.

You will also ensure vehicle fleet maintenance, including planning and overseeing timely preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles according to MSF standards. Additionally, you will instruct and monitor drivers on correct driving habits and standard checks. Managing and following up on orders, including collecting logistics orders from different departments or health facilities, drawing up and following orders according to procedures, providing technical support to the storekeeper, making local purchases according to MSF supply procedures, and ensuring the reception conditions of freight or arriving materials is also part of your responsibilities.
