We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasonic Testing Specialist to join our team in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. This role demands a minimum of 7 years of experience in ultrasonic inspection, with qualifications such as TWI CSWIP, ASNT, PCN, or EN 473 Level II, or an equivalent certification approved by the company.
As an Ultrasonic Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting ultrasonic inspections to detect discontinuities in materials and welds, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and reliability of our clients' operations.
Job Detail
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasonic testing (UT) on various materials and welds to detect internal discontinuities.
- Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of examination results.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all inspection activities.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasonic testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure the timely completion of inspection tasks.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and techniques.
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasonic testing technology and industry standards.

Qualifications
