Job Detail
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and prepare soil for planting
- Digging, mulching, weeding, pruning, and seed sowing
- Plant and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and lawns
- Utilize and maintain hand tools and basic machinery
- Operate mowers, strimmers, and leaf blowers
- Monitor mower height and quality of cut
- Check oil levels and assess mower damage regularly
- Report equipment issues promptly
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
- Securely store and maintain cleanliness of equipment
- Transplant shrubs, trees, and lawns as needed
- Apply natural fertilizers and water plants effectively
- Perform safe and healthy tree and hedge pruning
- Maintain grass areas without the use of chemicals
- Ensure gardens and pathways are clean and tidy
- Manage outdoor features such as ponds and walls
- Organize and execute planting activities
- Trim hedges and perform general exterior upkeep
- Clean exterior buildings as required
- Maintain tool shed and storage organization
- Maintain an organized and schedule-oriented approach with strong plant knowledge
