As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers, providing product information, and maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the store.

Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers courteously to the supermarket.
  • Ensure customers receive exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.
  • Explain or give product information to customers.
  • Educate customers on product discounts and special offers.
  • Attend to customers' needs and show them around the supermarket.
  • Rotate stock to ensure goods with the earliest sell-by dates are at the front.
  • Stock and arrange products on shelves, chillers, fridges, freezers, and displays to encourage customer purchases.
  • Conduct regular checks on stock to prevent damages or theft.
  • Perform on-the-spot assessments of shelves, stock, and inventory to avoid stockouts.
  • Ensure chillers, fridges, and all electrical items are working perfectly.
  • Scan products, pack goods purchased by customers, and handle transactions.
  • Provide customer feedback or complaints to the Supervisor or Manager promptly.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
