Speedaf Express, a leading logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a meticulous and reliable Petty Cash Administrator to join our team in Ibadan, Oyo State. This position is pivotal in managing the company's petty cash fund, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately, and maintaining appropriate cash levels to support daily operational expenses. The role is crucial for upholding financial compliance and supporting the smooth running of operations within the company.

The Petty Cash Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and managing the petty cash fund, processing petty cash requests, and ensuring all expenses are authorized and supported by valid receipts. The role involves replenishing the petty cash fund as needed, following company procedures, and accurately recording all transactions in the accounting system.

Detailed record-keeping is a significant part of this role, including maintaining records of all disbursements and receipts and preparing periodic petty cash reconciliation reports for the Finance Manager's review. Compliance and control are also essential, ensuring adherence to the company's petty cash policies and procedures, conducting regular audits to detect discrepancies, and implementing internal controls to safeguard the fund.

The Petty Cash Administrator will prepare and submit monthly petty cash reports to the Line Manager and assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for audits. Coordination with various departments to facilitate petty cash transactions and providing support and guidance to staff regarding petty cash procedures are also required. Additionally, the Petty Cash Administrator will assist the Finance Department with other tasks as needed.
