As a Packaging Machine Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining, calibrating, and optimizing packaging equipment to ensure the highest standards of product quality and availability. You will be responsible for supporting shift-based teams, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing maintenance activities. This role demands a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include operational support, planned and routine maintenance, running repairs, and continuous improvement of Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate will ensure adherence to safety protocols and contribute to a positive working environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide specialist support to shift-based teams during operations
- Assist as a functional expert in problem solving
- Provide guidance on mechanical equipment, fault-finding, and failure mode responses
- Participate in maintenance planning meetings
- Carry out work during planned maintenance windows
- Partake in maintenance post-mortems to feedback learnings
- Perform cleaning, lubrication, and inspection as per maintenance schedules
- Resolve issues uncovered during routine maintenance
- Conduct running repairs on plant and equipment
- Assess problems and determine courses of action during repairs
- Complete administration tasks related to repairs as per SAP requirements
- Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve routine issues
- Escalate complex problems to the Engineering Controller
- Contribute to the improvement of SWIs, SOPs, and maintenance tasks
- Operate in a safe manner and highlight unsafe practices
- Follow work instructions and adhere to AB InBev policies and procedures
- Perform housekeeping tasks and apply 5S principles during duties

Qualifications
- HND/B.Eng or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years as a Process Artisan or Maintenance Artisan on high-speed packing lines

- Understanding of modern maintenance practices, maintenance systems, and production processes
