We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Area Sales Executive to join our Commercial team in Ikorodu, Lagos. This role is pivotal in driving sales across consumer sales channels, managing branch-level inventory, and providing exceptional support to our Microfinance Institution partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving product issues, conducting product and sales training, and assisting with trade activations and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have a background in business administration or sales and marketing, with a strong track record in the service, FMCG, or renewable energy industries. You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, possess excellent communication and people skills, and be ready to travel extensively. Fluency in both English and the local language is essential.

Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across consumer sales channels in the assigned territory.
  • Manage branch-level inventory.
  • Address client queries and resolve consumer and channel queries within stipulated guidelines and timelines.
  • Assist with trade activations and marketing campaigns as per set plans.
  • Plan and conduct product and sales training for partner staff.
  • Fulfill aftersales and warranty requirements within a reasonable time.
  • Consolidate reports on competitor activities, routes traveled, branches visited and activated, sales, and stock positions.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
