Pruvia Integrated Limited, a leading service merchant in Lagos, Nigeria, seeks a dedicated Machine Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As a key player in the Manufacturing and Engineering sector, we are looking for a proactive and strategic individual to support our business development initiatives and OEM acquisitions, primarily focusing on Syntegon Technology. The successful candidate will interface with our customers, organization, and Centers of Competence (COC) to drive sales deliverables and achieve business goals.

Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Set smart new machine sales targets considering the company's financial status and profitability.
  • Pursue sales leads and visit both existing and new customers, including those in food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and various food sectors.
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services from the company’s portfolio.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide appropriate service solutions.
  • Manage projects based on COC agreements, including price indications, offers, firm offers, and delivery times to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers to build positive relationships that generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Handle office work, including administrative tasks on the salesforce platform, weekly reporting, and meetings.
  • Establish and follow annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and forecasts to meet targets.
  • Seek out new customers and opportunities to drive revenue.
  • Build long-term relationships with key contacts at target customers to ensure repeat project sales.
  • Apply learning and experiences to streamline sales processes.
  • Initiate promotional events for the company.
  • Drive business development activities in anglophone countries.
  • Suggest and drive approved marketing strategies for product awareness in the West and Central Africa region.
  • Represent the company at trade events.
  • Analyze sales trends, market dynamics, and reports to determine business growth potentials.
  • Manage the sales pipeline/project by updating probabilities and reporting updates during meetings, moving to the execution phase.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Manage market research teams or outsource as agreed by the board.
  • Maintain frequent communication with COC contacts via emails, phone calls, and periodic visit reports.
  • Use various lead generation tools, such as websites, blogs, LinkedIn, promotions, word of mouth, trade shows, market research, cold calling, and emails to create a database of potential targets.
  • Create new business opportunities that align with the company’s agreed business portfolios, generating revenue and profitability.
  • Introduce, promote, and manage other OEMs with contracts, such as Carugil, Flavour Sensation, Bosch Power Tool, and Bosch AA.

Qualifications
