This position is essential in ensuring that our high-level program designs are effectively implemented through strong partnerships with trusted NGOs and the healthcare system. The Program Officer will provide the insights and structure necessary to manage and execute these programs successfully.
Job Detail
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed program plans, including preparation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
- Track progress against program plans, communicating status and risks to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners to shape and refine implementation plans, providing structure and clarity.
- Conduct M&E activities during key operational phases, solving problems and ensuring effective service delivery.
- Represent Clear Solutions in local stakeholder discussions.
- Contribute to organizational decision-making with insights from local and program data.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong English communication skills, with working proficiency in Hausa (verbal required, written preferred).
- Proven ability to bring structure and clarity to complex situations.
- Experience in communicating effectively with colleagues and external partners at various levels of seniority.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and thrive in a dynamic team environment.
- Proficiency in using computer applications to create spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
- Residency in Kano State.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in working with primary healthcare provision in Nigeria.
- Experience as a program officer or manager, or in a similar role in complex programs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working at an NGO or volunteering in community and non-profit projects.
