We are currently recruiting for the position of HR Manager in our Kano office. This role requires a strategic and dynamic individual capable of driving HR initiatives that align with our business objectives. The HR Manager will play a critical role in bridging management and employee relations, developing HR strategies, and ensuring the effective management of human resources.

Responsibilities
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Maintain pay plans and benefits programs.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in HR.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Indian company.
- Experience in dealing with the unionized sector.
- Thorough knowledge of payroll systems.
- Experience in the local language, Hausa.
