We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain management activities in our medical manufacturing division.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and supply chain management to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services for the medical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding a CIPS certification. They should have proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the medical manufacturing industry, and possess strong negotiation and contract management skills.
This role requires knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and market trends, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities. The candidate must have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, proficiency in procurement software and MS Office, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
The Procurement Manager will develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency, identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and reliability, and negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers/vendors to achieve favorable terms and conditions. They will monitor inventory levels, manage stock levels to meet production requirements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, and evaluating and mitigating risks related to procurement activities are also key responsibilities.
