We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Superintendent Pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical production, quality control, and regulatory compliance within our medical manufacturing division.
The Superintendent Pharmacist will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and maintaining necessary approvals from regulatory bodies like NAFDAC. This role involves overseeing the production of IV fluids to ensure compliance with pharmacological processes and regulatory guidelines, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficacy, and developing and implementing quality control measures and procedures.
Key responsibilities include managing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, conducting training to ensure competency, and coordinating with regulatory agencies for product registrations, licenses, and inspections. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, with a Master’s degree preferred, and be a licensed pharmacist with a minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.

Job Detail
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and NAFDAC.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, including NAFDAC, to secure and maintain necessary approvals.
- Oversee the production of IV fluids to ensure compliance with pharmacological processes and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure product quality, safety, and efficacy.
- Develop and implement quality control measures and procedures.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies for product registrations, licenses, and inspections.
- Manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Conduct training and ensure competency of pharmacy staff.
- Monitor and analyze pharmaceutical trends and developments.

Qualifications
