KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation has been at the forefront of the fight against TB since its establishment in 1903 in the Netherlands. With over a century of experience, KNCV has made significant strides in TB control, contributing to the near elimination of TB in the Netherlands and playing a critical role in global TB program implementation. KNCV’s technical expertise spans across various domains, including strategic planning for TB elimination, development of funding requests, DR-TB programming, TB/HIV collaborative interventions, laboratory network strengthening, and more. The foundation employs around 90 technical staff, 30 based in The Hague and 60 at the country level, offering a robust support system to TB programs worldwide.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team in Kaduna, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with financial policies, procedures, and donor requirements. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our projects by processing payments, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.

Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process payments and incentives for all project stakeholders, including linkage coordinators, PMVs, CBOs, mentor mentors, and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and donor requirements.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for the Global Fund Project.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to address and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Support the finance team with additional accounting tasks as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all major financial rules and regulations, as described in the KNCV Finance Manual and other appropriate policies.
  • Perform other additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
  • 3 – 4 years of experience in finance management, accounting, and working in a project setting.
  • Demonstrable experience with accounting and financial reporting in GF/USG supported projects.

Skills

  • Knowledge of relevant accounting software systems.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team, dynamic, solid, and open.
  • Must be flexible with absolute integrity, organizational awareness, and understanding of cultural differences.

Salary, Benefits and incentive

Salary

NGN 150,000 - 250,000 per-Month.
