Oga Accountant Business Services is seeking an experienced, diligent, and detail-oriented Account/Internal Control Officer to join our dynamic team at a fast-growing fast food company in Abuja. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, implementing and monitoring internal controls, and supporting various accounting tasks within the finance team.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in accounting, keen attention to detail, and the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all financial records comply with established internal controls, conducting regular audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Additionally, you will monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
In this role, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will also provide support during external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
