Job Detail


  • Feeding fish by hand
  • Grading fish by size and moving them to bigger tanks or ponds
  • Checking and maintaining water quality
  • Checking fish for disease, preventing, and treating infections
  • Ensuring high hygiene standards to prevent disease
  • Draining and cleaning tanks, filters, and nets
  • Washing the ponds
  • Keeping records of the numbers and sizes of fish stocked
  • Assisting the manager in planning breeding programs and grow schedules
  • Preparing fish for sale, gutting, and packing them in ice for transport
  • Assisting in fish processing
  • Maintaining buildings and equipment, involving basic joinery, plumbing, and electrical work
  • Any other work as assigned by the farm manager
