The partnership and business development team at Sun King, covering West and Central Africa, has shown remarkable growth over the past five years, establishing a robust network of over 300 partners. As a Sales Executive, you will join this dynamic team, focusing on serving existing and potential Microfinance Institution (MFI) partners. Your role will involve driving sales, managing inventory, addressing client queries, and ensuring the effective resolution of product issues. Additionally, you will support trade activations, conduct training sessions for partner staff, and fulfill aftersales and warranty requirements.

In this role, you will be expected to travel extensively within your assigned territory, engaging with various consumer sales channels. Your efforts will contribute significantly to Sun King's mission of expanding access to renewable energy solutions across the region.

Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across consumer sales channels in the assigned territory.
  • Manage inventory at the branch level.
  • Address and resolve client queries and channel issues within stipulated guidelines and timelines.
  • Ensure sales closure during trade activations and marketing campaigns as per set plans.
  • Plan and conduct product and sales training for partner staff.
  • Fulfill aftersales and warranty requirements within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Consolidate reports on competitors, routes traveled, branches visited and activated, sales and stock positions, etc.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel 75% of the time.
