As Nigeria's leading supplier of educational materials, Chelis Bookazine Limited is in search of a meticulous Admin & Account Officer to uphold administrative efficiency and financial integrity at our esteemed Benin branch in Edo. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions and maintaining accurate financial records. Your role will encompass managing administrative tasks, handling financial transactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both administrative and accounting roles, demonstrating proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite. A keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively are essential for success in this position. The role requires working independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Additionally, a valid driving license and the ability to commute to the Benin office are necessary.

Job Detail


  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Handle financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business operations.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Provide support for payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
  • Perform general office duties, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Work two Saturdays per month as part of the job requirements.

Job Requirements
