We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales & Business Development Executive to join our team in Asaba, Delta State. This role is pivotal in driving our business growth in the Energy, Oil & Gas, and Power sectors by generating leads, closing sales, and expanding our market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing within these sectors, possess excellent analytical and organizational skills, and have a pragmatic, results-driven approach.

The Regional Sales & Business Development Executive will self-generate leads, follow up on leads to achieve targets, and expand the market share in their region. The role involves identifying and prospecting industrial CNG customers, converting leads to gas sale agreements, and managing customer relationships to achieve sales goals. This position requires regular travel to meet potential clients and close deals, making it ideal for an energetic, sharp, and independent individual with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key responsibilities include generating a database of industrial customers, following up on leads, executing gas sales contracts, managing customer relationships, supporting the development of new accounts, and gathering market intelligence. The successful candidate will also prepare sales reports and perform any other specific duties assigned by the sales director.

Job Detail


  • Identifying, researching, and contacting prospective customers.
  • Generating leads and a database of industrial customers who require the business solutions offered by the company.
  • Following up on leads and participating in negotiations according to company guidelines.
  • Successfully executing gas sales contracts with customers.
  • Following up on first supplies to clients by liaising with the client and the company operations team.
  • Identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue through expansion into new geographical areas and supporting the development of new accounts.
  • Supporting management in crafting and implementing the sales and marketing strategy.
  • Managing customer relationships to achieve goals and plans within the assigned sales territory.
  • Building and maintaining relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction to generate customer goodwill and loyalty.
  • Responding to customer concerns about the company and its products/services.
  • Ensuring that market intelligence is gathered in a systematic manner and that such information is captured.
  • Facilitating the development of partnerships and alliances that promote the growth of company business.
  • Establishing and maintaining a working relationship with regulatory bodies.
  • Performing any other specific duty assigned by the sales director from time to time.
  • Preparing weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports.
  • Extensive travel requirements.

Job Requirements
