The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) is the financial institution established by the 15 Member States of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). These member states include Benin, Burkina Faso, Capo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo. The Bank’s headquarters is located in Lome, Togolese Republic.
As part of its commitment to fostering economic development and regional integration, EBID is inviting applications for its Young Professionals Program. This program aims to attract talented and motivated young professionals from member states to contribute to the bank’s mission and enhance their professional development. The program is designed for recent graduates and young professionals under 30 years old who possess a Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification in fields relevant to the bank's operations.
Participants in the Young Professionals Program will have the opportunity to work in various departments of the bank, gaining practical experience and contributing to projects in asset/liability management, audit, communication and marketing, finance, engineering, business administration, law, accounting, economics, IT, human resources, infrastructure, private sector operations, public sector operations, risk management, and language services. This program offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, developing skills that are essential for a career in international banking and development.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of the bank’s assets and liabilities
- Conduct audits and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies
- Support financial analysis and reporting
- Participate in engineering and infrastructure projects
- Assist in business administration tasks and project management
- Provide legal support and ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct economic research and analysis
- Support IT and technological innovation projects
- Assist in human resources management and development
- Participate in public and private sector operations
- Conduct risk management assessments
- Provide language services support

Qualifications
- Not more than 30 years of age at the time of recruitment
