ASCENTECH SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Studies Teacher to join our team in Ibadan, Oyo. As a Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lectures to secondary school students, evaluating their performance, and facilitating a productive learning environment. Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver well-structured lectures on various topics within the business studies curriculum.
  • Use diverse teaching methods and tools to cater to different learning styles and enhance student engagement.
  • Evaluate and grade students' classwork, assignments, and papers.
  • Compile, administer, and grade examinations or delegate these tasks as appropriate.
  • Develop comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
  • Update and refine curriculum content and instructional methods to meet evolving educational standards and student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required information.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of student records.
  • Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions to promote critical thinking and active learning.
  • Establish a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to advise and assist students with academic and career-related inquiries.
