We are seeking a proactive and goal-oriented Channel / Sales Executive to join our team in Sokoto, Nigeria. This role involves managing business operations seamlessly while demonstrating strong business ethics and ownership.

As a Channel / Sales Executive, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing retail accounts, and negotiating value propositions with retailers to drive mutual business growth. You will also be tasked with building and managing customer relationships, ensuring superior in-store execution, and managing stock and display management at the SKU level. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail business dynamics, excellent communication skills, and be tech-savvy with mobile technology.

Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales target achievement as per company objectives.
  • Manage retail accounts in the assigned territory for business growth.
  • Negotiate and influence value propositions to retailers for mutual business growth.
  • Build and manage customer relationships through proactive inputs on market insights.
  • Ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage superior in-store execution excellence – availability and visibility.
  • Ensure process compliance as per company guidelines and standards.
  • Manage task management for each outlet as per the process and timelines.
  • Conduct effective sales calls at each outlet as per the coverage and outlet-specific plan.
  • Negotiate shelf space and other visibility locations with retailers to drive sell-through.
  • Ensure best in-store merchandising to maximize share of shelf for each brand and SKU.
  • Manage displays as per the planogram and other guidelines provided.
  • Manage SKU level stock ordering with the aim to increase availability and visibility.
  • Ensure minimum stock levels at each outlet and proactively manage customers.
  • Coordinate with various functions to ensure excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in trade sales.

  • Excellent communication skills with good listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Disciplined and proactive in managing assigned tasks.
  • Tech-savvy, particularly with mobile technology (Android phone and Mobile Apps).

  • Bachelor's degree
