We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Sokoto, Nigeria, to coordinate the EU project activities - Strengthening Civil Society to Enhance Education for All in Northern Nigeria. This role will ensure the proper coordination of all actions designed to contribute to achieving the overall objective of this project, which is to strengthen local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) as actors of good governance and empower them to contribute to inclusive, participatory, and open education policy dialogue in Nigeria.

Job Detail

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of project activities in Sokoto and Adamawa states.
  • Ensure proper planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
  • Build the capacity of local CSOs in governance and education policy advocacy.
  • Facilitate participatory approaches to education with local stakeholders.
  • Conduct advocacy campaigns and influence policy changes in the education sector.
  • Collaborate with project partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit regular project reports to the project manager.
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in education in the development sector.
