As a QuickBooks Accountant at Ascentech Services Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable journal entries, maintaining bank reconciliations, computing taxes, preparing tax returns, and handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Your expertise in QuickBooks and MS Excel will be essential in managing high-volume vendor payments and reinforcing financial data confidentiality.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, a strong knowledge of debits and credits, and a stable job history. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, and additional certification such as ICAN is a plus. Job Detail
Responsibilities
- Post and process Accounts Payable journal entries in QuickBooks
- Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
